Author Notes - Most of my Bubble Guppies stories are quite long (I think the shortest is 6,000 words), and they often deal with somewhat heavy topics. So I decided to write this as a humorous little short story instead. Gotta keep your writing varied, after all! I was inspired to write this short story after reading 'Pigeonophobia' by KindAdaptableKayak.There was something about this one group of kids, known collectively as the 'Bubble Guppies', that no other class of his had ever had before. He let out a sigh. The day hadn't even begun yet, and he already felt like weeping. But he refused to cry, not right before class started. His students didn't need that.Probably doubt it, he's probably married and has kids already. All my friends seem to marry the person they loved from the beginning. Nonny and Oona got married 2 years ago, Deema and Goby got married a year ago. And me well I have a boyfriend who I have been dating since college. He propose to me once but I declined. We all know how a love story goes. The guy and girl meet. The guy falls for the girl (and vice versa) They hang out for a bit until they get married and live happily ever after. Well what happens after the "ever after"? Follow the strange, yet heart warming relationships of these six "guppies" as they head down the road of life with one another.

This one-chapter story is inspired by a story by my colleague mermaidf. Which she posted a story on Team Umizoomi's Wattpad about how one of the characters (Bot) takes a parental role to Geo and Millie.
